Allocating resources

I am using MS Project 2003 and would like to enter the amount of effort each
person will provide as a number of days, not as a percentage. Is this
possible?

Hi Roger,

Yes, no problem
Alternatives:

Enter a column "Work". Enter Work value. Assign the resource if you want
duration to be recalculated.
If on the contrary you want duration to remain constant and Units to be
calculated first set the task to Fixed duration task type.

Or, Window, Split; select the task and in the form below you can now specify
all three variables (Work, duration, units)
This is the best way if the task has more than one resource assigned to it.
