Allocation over different types of products & tasks

Hi All,

i have many tasks in various time lines.Besides those tasks includes selling
bunch of products with different values. (for instance catalogue sales in a
period of time)

so what i am trying find out whethe im able to enter the product values and
sales targets in a project and fallow them

is there any way i can do this?

Tucker,
Trying to understand your post (which is a little cryptic by the way),
it almost sounds like you would be better off using a spreadsheet rather
than Project. Project is best as a planning/scheduling application
whereas a spreadsheet is much better at tracking numbers.

If I'm missing the mark, perhaps you could provide a more succinct
explanation of what you want to do. Then maybe we can help.

Echoing John, MS Project is not a very good tool for tracking ongoing
line-of-business activities and is definitely not a productivity tracking or
accounting-type application. Now if you were planning out everything that
needed to be done to implement a new sales campaign - hiring and training
staff, planning radio and TV advertising, shooting commercials and print
ads, etc, etc - then Project might be of use to you.
