i have a custom animation that i am trying to run in
Powerpoint. the .gif file inserts and plays fine for
about 5 seconds then it starts going jerky. i have used
Microsofts ideas for speeding up the animation but that
has been no use. any sugestions would be kindly recieved

You've mentioned a GIF file and also custom animation. Is this an animated
GIF? What custom animation have you applied to it? Does it play okay with
no custom animation applied to it?

the format is an animated.gif format that i am trying to
