Annual events on a particular day of week (Sunday or Monday forexample) not stored on Exchange serve

I've reported this issue to Microsoft before w/o feedback so I would
thought see if anyone on this list can confirm the issue.

When I add an annual event to reoccur on a particular day of the week (such
as Labor Day, Mother's Day, etc.) using Entourage 2008 (12.2.1) to my
calendar it appears properly in Entourage 2008 BUT appears ONLY AS A SINGLE
EVENT in Outlook or OWA for the start day. When I add such events using EWS
or Outlook they appear properly throughout my calendar as re-occuring. What
is bizarre is that clearing the local cache does cause the event to be lost
even though the Exchange server does not PROPERLY recognize this event as
re-occurring.

I've started with a fresh identity so this issue was not related to a cached
anomaly. I suspect this has something to do with the rule changes to time
changes over the years negatively affecting these particular type of
reoccurring events.

You MUST look compare what Outlook or OWA shows to be on the Exchange server
with what Entourage 2008 claims to be an re-occurring event. Other annual
events appears properly that occur on a specific day like Sept 11, Nov 11
and Dec 7 (for those who still learn history).

Add a event for Labor Day beginning first Monday in 2008 using Entourage
2008 (12.2.1). Sync. See if there is a Labor Day event in 2009 or 2010
using Outlook, EWS or OWA. Look in 2008 to see if there appears to be a
single event Labor Day in 2008 when viewed from Outlook, EWS or OWA

If you're referring to the Send Feedback tool, unfortunately, Microsoft
does not always utilize this as a two-way communication vehicle.

I've reproduced your issue connecting to my Outlook Web Access (OWA)
server address and will pass this along to the folks at MacBU.
