I know the Students & Teachers edition of Office doesn't
qualify for an upgrade. The question is, when you move on to
a "full" version of Office, what do you do? How do you do
it? Do you uninstall S&T and then install the new version?
Can you install (*not* upgrade) the new version over the S&T
version?

Just be VERY careful with your Outlook pst file (if you use Outlook -
NOT Outlook Express). the Outlook 2003 pst format is not backwards
compatible, and there have been horror stories from people whose trial
has expired and then can't save their 2003 pst file as a prior-version
pst file because their version of Office 2003 doesn't function!

Simply roll back your system to a period prior to the trial expiration,
create a 97-2002 compatible .pst file and use that. It is not like there
isn't a warning when you create the 2003 only unicode .pst file.
