Applying a template to an existing workbook

I am trying to apply a template to an existing workbook. In a previous post,
someone stated that you can click on the "Document Template" button from the
Developer tab. However, I don't have this button on my Developer tab. Is
there something else I need to enable in order to display this button? Or
does anyone else have any suggestions for applying a template to an existing
workbook?

Thanks so much for your help,
Janet

This can be done in Word (as described in the previous post) but not in
Excel. Can you elaborate on why you need to apply a template to an existing
workbook?

We are going to generate a workbook from an outside source that will have 12
tabs of information. Once that workbook is generated, we would like to
automatically apply specific names to each tab, and ensure that the file is
formatted to print in landscape. Since we will be creating 10+ different
files each month, we are trying to find an easy way to apply this formatting
to the workbook.

Thanks for your help,
Janet
