appts. changing to multi day on time zone change

Some of my appointments that are "all day" setups are
becoming multi-day appts. when I change the time zone on
my PC when I travel. They do not change back to single
day when I change the time back either. Is there a way
to prevent this, or change them all back in batch some
how?
