As late as possible and as soon as possible on same task?

Hi everyone. I am wondering if it is possible to set the "as soon as
possible" and the "as late as possible" restraint on the same task. I have
single-day, monument events that control the start and finish of my other
tasks and I don't want to have to adjust the duration for the dependant tasks
when I move the monuments around. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

No. However, you shouldn't need to adjust the Durations of subsequent tasks
unless you've entered dates in the Start or Finish fields, as these will
thus have constraints. Without constraints, the successor tasks will
automatically adjust.
