I am using Outlook 2003. The person I am assigning the task to is using
Outlook 2000. I will create a task and select assign task and then send it
to this person. When he receives it he will click on the accept button and a
response is sent back to me. I will open the message by double clicking on
it. When I check the status of the task it says it is "waiting for a
response from recipeant" . The person will complete the task and send me an
update. Again I open the message (not just preview). I check the task and it
is still waiting for a response from recipient.
Also I would like to add, once I have opened the messages updating the task
once, I can not open them again. Double clicking or right click open will
not open the message. I can only see it in preview. I don't know if hat has
anything to do with my problem.
