Hi Shawn,
If I understand correctly, you have two teams of two. While one teams works
in the day shift, the second teams works the night shift. After every two
weeks, the teams swap shifts.
If this is the case, what I would do is create two (2) "recuring" task
(repeating every two weeks): 1) to represent the day shifts, and the other
the night shifts. I'm assuming that the default "task" calendar for the day
shift tasks should be ok as is, but as for the night shift tasks calendars
may need to check off "Scheduling ingnores resource calendars" (if your
resources calendars are set to ie., 8 hour "days") to ensure that the
resources get assigned to night shift tasks. Once you have this set up, you
can begin assigning the teams to the different shifts.

I'm having trouble assigning resources to a project plan - I'm trying to
show 2 personnel that will rotate every two weeks with two other personnel
over the course of a year. Each team of 2 alternates shifts (night/day).
What is the best way to accomplish this? Do I need to manually set a
working time for each resource for the entire duration of the project? I
wanted to just set up the same resource with 4 available units, but I'm
thinking each one may have to be individually set-up to plan for this
rotation. Any help is greatly appreciated.
