Assigning Resources

Is it possible to assign resources on a curve? Meaning
that a resource is only used 10% for 2 weeks and then 20%
in the next few weeks, etc... By the end of the project
the resource is being used 100%.

To assign a resource to a task using a "curve" or "contoured work pattern",
do the following:

1. Assign the resource to the task
2. Apply the Task Usage view
3. Double-click the name of the resource below the task in question
4. In the Assignment Information dialog, select either the "Back Loaded" or
"Late Peak" work contour
5. Click OK
6. Examine the contoured work pattern for the assignment in the timephased
grid (yellow/white timesheet on the right)
7. If it is not satisfactory, manually type a contoured work pattern that
meets your needs, remember not to exeeed your original Work estimate
