Assigning resourses

Hi,

I have a project with many tasks. Mostly the same people perform these
task. When I assign recourses (people) from a common resource pool to
each task I have to select each resource individually from the pool for
each task. As such 10 tasks and 5 people for each means that I have to
select 50 names which is time consuming.

I do not appear to be able to cut and paste. I tried to record a macro but
nothing is recorded.

Is there a beter way to assign resourses than one by one?

Hello Sean,

If that is always the same 5 resources assigned on every tasks, you could
assign them the classical way (with the Assign Resource dialog) on one task,
and then copy all the 5 resources on the other tasks.

Nevertheless, a 10 tasks project is not a too large project ! How are doing
people who are scheduling thousands of tasks ;-)

The assign resources window allows you to select multiple tasks AND multiple
resources.
One click will do!!
