assigning tasks to a group

Does Outlook 2002 allow for the creation of a recurring
task that can be sent to a distribution group?
If so, is there a way to indicate to other group members
when the task has been accepted by a group member?
Can status be conveyed to the distribution group who
receives the recurrent task?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
