Attach date to Filename automatically

Hi,
I am supposed to set the computers up to automatically attach a date to the
file name when it is saved. The idea behind it obviously is knowing which is
the most recent version and not having to rename the file over and over again.
No idea how this is supposed to work..Thank,

Given that the modified date can be viewed in the File Open dialog, this
seems excessive and would probably be more difficult to accomplish than you
imagine.
