Attaching a file in Outlook

When I copy and past a file into Outlook, sometimes it
appears as a file name in the header information and
sometimes as a file icon in the body of the text. Why
does this happen?

If your composition format is Rich Text, the attachment will appear as an
icon in the mesage body. If the composition format is Plain Text or HTML,
the attachment will appear as a file name in the Attachment bar.
