Attachments and Graphics take a long time to open

Hi,
I'm using Outlook 2002 and when I try to open an email
with an attachment or graphic it take 20 seconds or longer
to open. I have cleaned up my mailbox so I don't have many
emails and I delete messages daily. Is there anything else
I can try to make this work faster? Thanks for any help
you could provide.

This is a long shot, but try disabling the integration with Instant
Messenger in Tools | Options | Other and see if that speeds things up.
