Outlook 2002 - since I had to re-install windows, office,
etc. attaching a file no longer appears in a separate box
below the subject, but rather buries the icon in the
message.

Solution anyone?

You've probably switched to Rich Text format somehow. Use Plain Text or
HTML and your attachment icons will appear in the separate box.
