Authentication Issue.

Hi
I have a strange problem. I have copied images from a server which is
enabled with basic autentication. Now every time when i open the PPT it is
asking me a user name and password. to avoid that, I even deleted all the
images from the PPT and it is still asking for the same. How do i open the
ppt now without any authentication ? I even copied and pasted to new
presentation, removed all the images and saved only with the text. But no
Luck. Pls help
