Auto calculate

I have a form with a formula field which uses two bookmarks to calculate a
percentage.



Is there anyway to force it to auto re calculate when the bookmark values
change?

I can only do this by selecting the field and updating it, or when printing
the document.

You could run an update macro on exit from the second field (if calculate on
exit doesn't work). The example code at
http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm will do the trick.

Shane,

If you use form fields to input your values set to calculate on exit the
result will update when you exit the fields.

For example:

View>ToolBars>Forms

Insert two text fields. Doubleclick each text field and set format to
number and check calculate on exit. Use { =(Text1+Text2) }. As your
formula. Toggle field codes add activate the form by clicking the padlock
icon.

That is great and it works really well - thanks Greg.
However I am using "Fill-in" fields for te number vaules as I want to prompt
the user for the info when the document opens.
