Auto Fit quirks in Excel 2002/2007

I was wondering if a couple of excel quirks that have been bugging in
Excel 2002 SP 3 me are still an issue in 2007. Could someone that has
the newer version try a couple of things for me?

Type, "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. I am not amused
by this at all." (without quotes) in Arial, 10 pts, in a cell. Make
the cell width exactly 235 pixels wide. (32.86) Format the cell to
wrap text, on the alignment tab, or 2007 equivalent.

it should look something like this:

The quick brown fox jumps over the
lazy dog. I am not amused by this at
all.

Now double-click the cell, like you want to edit the contents. If the
same quirk is in 2007 as in 2002, then it should look like this while
you're in it:

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy
dog. I am not amused by this at all.

This is a result of the cell expanding by 1 pixel on all sides when
you double-click, leaving just enough room for "lazy" to be on the
first line. Does this happen in 2007?

Another quirk:

If you remove the spaces between "this", "at", and "all." so it reads
"thisatall." and fits on 2 lines no matter where "lazy" sits, then
click Format -> Row -> Autofit (Or whatever the equivalent 2007
command is) for that row, Excel 2002 still thinks there are three
lines of text, leaving blank whitespace to waste paper and screen real
estate. I have no idea where this is coming from, but it's really
annoying, and annoys my daily life at work quite a bit. Does this
happen in 2007 also?

This alone is reason for me to get the upgrade if indeed it's fixed.

You may want to use the link below to also post this in the
MS Office Excel discussion group.

After typing the text and clicking the wrap text button on the Excel 2007
Home Ribbon=>Alignment group then editing in the cell I didn't see a full justification switch that appears to be what you were
seeing.

If you have a high speed connection you can try Office 2007 online yourself at
