auto outlining in Word 2003 document lost when opened with word 2.

Auto outlining features in documents createdin Word 2003 are "gone" when the
document is opened with Word 2000...other formatting features are also "lost"
(i.e. font and spacing)...

Make sure that you don't have "Recover Text from Any File" set as the file
type in the File Open dialog and that you are not using the draft font
(Normal view) or Outline view.
