Auto Saving atachments

P

Phil

We are using Outlook 2003 and I want to be able to do the following

Using a network scanner scan in a document, the scanner will send this
to any Email address as a PDF attachment

We will set up a dummy address within this I want to set a series of
rules that will save the attacment to a location on the network and
then delete the Email

I have found how to identify the emails, but I think a script is
required to do the saving. I want to keep the file name that the
scanner has given it.

This is required as we need to store a number of signed documents and
it tedious scanning, send them to your own address and then saving
them in the correct place

Thanks in advance

Phil

Usually, printers that can scan to an email address can also scan to a network
share directly.
