Auto text

Hi,

I need to deploy autotext entries to a large amount of machines. Is there a
way to import the auto text entries from a template into the current
normal.dot via a script?

Your best bet is to place the template containing the AutoText entries
in a shared folder and point each user's Word Startup location to the
folder. The template will load as a global template when Word starts
which will make the AutoText entries available just as they are if
stored in Normal.dot, plus you'll only need to keep one template
updated.

The location of the Word Startup folder can be found under
Tools/Options/File Locations.
