Autocorrect file

Everytime I try to open a Word document, I get this message:

Your AutoCorrect file, C:\Documents and Settings\(user)\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\MSO1033.acl, could not be saved. The file may be read-only, or you may not have permission to modify the file

Consequently, when I try to copy a Word document to a CD, I am unable to read in on the CD.

Any suggestions?

Try going to the location that Word gives you for the
AutoCorrect file, right-clicking on the file, clicking on
properties, and then seeing if the read-only box is
checked. If it is, un-check it.

Thank you! I couldn't find the document at first, but finally ran a search, and using 'More Advanced Options', selected a search of all Autocorrect list files, then, as you said, started down the list right-clicking on properties, and sure enough, one of them had "read-only" checked....how that got checked I'll never know, but anyway, I un-checked it, and that solved the problem. Thanks again!
I still can't seem to burn the Word document to a CD, but I'm thinking it's because I have both data and pictures in the same document, so Nero doesn't know what to do with it. With pictures in it, the one page document is a bit too big to fit on a floppy, so I haven't figured out how I'm going to get that document down to Walgreen's to print it off on their nifty photo quality printer.
Anyway, thanks again.

Having data and pictures in the same document should not be an issue: it's
just 0s and 1s no matter how you look at it. But don't try to save it
directly to a CD. Use your CD mastering software to copy it to the CD.
