Automatic date insert

Automatic date insert use to insert the whole date but now it doesn't. It
only does the month.

How are you inserting the date automatically? If you're using Alt+Shift+D or
the buttons on the Header and Footer toolbar, they use the date format
selected as the default in Insert | Date and Time. AutoComplete generally
suggests the short or long date format selected in Control Panel | Regional
Options.
