automatically deleting message

Help!
Outlook 6 automatically deletes all messages after a few
hours. This is from Inbox, Sent mesages and deleted items.
I updated yesterday from 5.5 to 6 thinking this would
solve the problem - but, no -
any answers out there? - Virus?
