Hello I am using word 2008 and somehow I got into a mode where my document shows all of the editor symbols such as a paragraph symbol and arrow for indentations. I have no idea how i got in this made and it is very annoying, does anyone know how to get my documents back to the normal mode where it just shows the text that I write.

Use the keyboard shortcut Command-8 (i.e., hold down the Command key and hit
8) to toggle this on and off.
