background offplaced when printing

Everything I print is just so smaller than 8.5 by 11 and
the margins are always the same. How can I adjust this. I
have tried so many things. Im trying to use the background
feature and its not running off the edges of the paper
when I print. Lookks great on screen but not at print
preview.

This is a limitation of your printer. Unless your printer has full bleed
capabilities, you will not be able to print to the edge.
