background sounds

I have a background sound playing on my web page (mp3) andit works great, is
there any way that someone who views the page can click a button to turn the
sound off. I like the sound there but if someone wants to turn it off, it
would be a nice option.

An even nicer option would be to not include the background sound in the
first place.

If I want to listen to music while surfing the web, I will stick WinAmp on
and let my own playlist play.
If I am already listening to music, I don't want it to be interrupted by
other web-page music.
