Backing up Outlook 2000

I am trying to set up a way to back up my Outlook 2000
folders (inbox, deleted items, calendars, contacts, etc.,
archived items) via my CD-RW drive using Roxio CD creator
4. I don't know where these items are found in the hard
drive (C:\) to include them. Any help emailed privately
appreciated. Thanks.

You can use the Personal Folders Backup feature to archive your email. You can find more details at the following location.

This should solve your issue. If you still want to copy the backup file to your CD, here is additional information.

The back up file usually has the extension .PST and depending upon your settings it may be hidden.
The default directory for this file is %windir%\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
If that is the case, please do the following.

Open "My Computer"
Click on "Tools" menu
Click on "Folder Option..." menu item
Click on "View" Tab
Under the "Hidden files and folders" select the "Show hidden files and folders"
And, click the "Apply to All Folders" button in the same tab

This .PST file can be copied to a CD if you want.
