backup every 3 months into separate pst files

I was wondering how to back up my inbox, with creating a new file for
every 3 months so i dont have to import all my messages if i need to
restore

Put all the messages you want into a new .pst file and then save a copy
of that .pst file on a CD or whatever.

Export ≠ backup.
Import ≠ restore.

Archive would be better for what you are trying to accomplish.

Every three months (way too long in my opinion - I backup up bidaily) follow
