Bar Code Reader

Hi,
I just used this feature. The bar code reading into
access is NOT a problem at all. However, saving the bar
code as an embedded object may be a problem. It is better
to use from word and scanned into access.

There is no need to store the bar code in Access, just store the data then
format it in a barcode font on the report. You can either buy a barcode font,
or there are several freeware ones to be found on the net. The only catch is
to ensure that you include the start/stop codes if your chosen barcode type
needs them, read up on the barcode to find out. For example, if you are using
Code39 you must include an asterix at each end of the data in the barcode:
*12345ABC*
