Baseline cost report

I would like to create a Baseline Cost Report using the "Cash Flow" crosstab
report that is included with Project 2000. When I edit the "Cash Flow"
report and change the column field from "Cost" to "Baseline Cost" the
resulting report appears to drop some costs, totals summary tasks
incorrectly, and generally appears to produce unreliable results. My
expectation for this report is that the Baseline Cost for each task would be
reported for each month of the project (the timescale for the Baseline Cost
field). Instead, I'm getting a report that mangles my Baseline Costs.

Any suggestions?

Many Thanks,

Bill,
Interesting. Now the question is, is the problem just with the Report or
is there a problem with your file? Do you get the same inconsistent
values when you view Baseline Cost in the Task Usage view? If you do
then something is awry with the way your file is set up. For example, is
calculation set for automatic (Tools/Options/Calculation tab)? Was the
baseline updated on some tasks but not others such that the Baseline
summary values you do have are not what you expect to have?

If the Task Usage view gives correct and consistent values and the Cash
Flow Report does not, there is something awry with the way the report is
set up. For example, are the check boxes for Summary and row and column
totals checked on the Details tab of the Crosstab Report window?

If everything looks ok but the Report is not consistent it is difficult
to provide more troubleshooting ideas without being able to see the
actual file. If possible, e-mail mail me the file and I'll have a look.
If you do, be sure to zip it first. If the file has sensitive
information, I can send you a macro that will desensitize it or you can
get a similar macro from Jack Dahlgren's webpage at:
http://masamiki.com/project/macros.htm
Look for the "Scrub" macro. Jack and I are both Project MVPs.

Hope this helps.
