BCWS and BCWP zero in Task View for Earned Value

Both of these fields are zero. I have baselined the plan and have set the
status date to today's date.
Tools=>Options=>Calculation Updating Task Status Updates Resource Status box
checked.
I have resources assigned to tasks with standard and overtime rates input.
Resources are assigned to tasks.
Where am I going wrong?

Hi Rob,

For BCWS:

Were the tasks scheduled to have any work as of the status date? If the
tasks are in the future, BCWS will be zero until the status date is equal to
or later than the baseline start date of the task.

From Help:
==================================
How Calculated To calculate BCWS for a task, Microsoft Office Project 2003
adds the timephased baseline costs of the task up to the status date.
==================================

For BCWP:

Have you recorded any actual work against the tasks? BCWP is not calculated
until you enter Actual Work.
From Help:
====================================
How Calculated When a task is first created, the BCWP is 0.00. As soon as
a baseline is saved and progress is reported for the task (as actual work,
actual duration, or percentage of work complete), Microsoft Office Project
2003 calculates BCWP.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie
