begginner question

sorry, I know this has been answered before but I lost the answer.
I am going to reinstall OS on a raid setup and want to back up my outlook
2003. where are the actual emails themselves stored? backing up the outlook
folder keeps my account settings but not my emails.

Do a search for *.pst. This is the personal data folder
within Outlook. Normally I just cut & paste to disk/CD-
ROM and then import when the reinstall is done. Some
users may have an easier way to do this but this always
works for me.
