best way to enter data

When using fixed units tasks, is their a preferred way to enter data,
data being work, resources.

Is it better to enter work first then resources or resources then
work, ideally what I want to end up with is having every task have
it's resource allocated at 100% unless max units in resource sheet is
set to a lower figure. so that all task are completed in the shortest
possible time.

Thanks

I do it by Window/Split.
I type the resource name, or use the drop down, in the bottom pane. I enter
the work for each resource, then hit OK. Duration becomes a calculated
field. Note the default is Fixed Units/Effort Driven. You can learn more
about that in the help
