Big Problem with Save My Settings Wizard

D

Don Wygal

Hi,

I just bought a new computer and used the "Save My
Settings Wizard" to save my office setting from the old
computer. I installed Office XP on the new computer and
then used teh "Save my Settings Wizard" again to restore
my settings to the new computer. The problem is that now
I'm gett error messages from Word and Outlook whenever I
start them telling me that it can't find a folder it's
looking for or an Addin that doesn't exist.

I decided to Uninstall Office and then reinstall it. To
make a long story short, I've uninstalled it, gone back
used the system restore to set my computer back to before
I installed in in the first place and used the "detect
and repair" tool (and have now reinstalled twice) and I
still can't get rid of my settings from the old
computer.

To make matters worse, every time I reinstall, I seem to
be loosing even more hard drive space. I'm about ready
to reinstall the operating system from scratch, but I
really don't want to.

Is there any way I can undo the damage that's been done.

Help!

Thanks in advance,
-Don
