Black Default background???

Somehow, my 'no fill color' option has been set to black, so that when I open up a document or start a new email, you cannot see what is being typed because the font color is also black. How did this happen, and how do I fix it?

This is a symptom of having too low a colour density in the screen driver
settings, but conceivably it could be attributable to a corrupt normal.dot
template. Check the colour density first then try renaming normal.dot.

Hi Jeff,

Typically this problem is due to your graphic settings. The most common cause is that your color depth is set to 16 colors.
