bullet points

I am new to Publisher. I am trying to make a brochure and

.. it has bullet points

.. that come out like this, with a space between the lines

.. I want the bullet points
..to look like this,
with no space between the lines, it seems this line space just happens with
the bullet points, it is not an extra line which I can just delete. How do I
get rid of the extra line space?
Also, I am trying to make a brochure which is just folded in half, printing
on the front and back. I do not know which template to use. I tried the
postcards, it shows that it is one sheet, folded in half, printing on both
sides, but when I printed out the postcard that is not what I got. It printed
out on the center of the paper, the font was so small I could not read it. So
far the only alternative I can think of is to type the brochure in Word,
using two columns, two pages, front and back and then just xeroxing the two
pages and put them on one page. Any help is appreciated.

In Publisher, format, bullets and numbering, you can adjust the spacing to zero.
Setup your brochure as a booklet if it is to be folded in half.
