Burn a copy of Outlook

R

Ronnie

I followed the Neo software. I found Outlook XP in Local Settings. When burn is successfully completed, I open the file from the cd. I then get a box asking what program do I want to use. I clicked on several likely candidates. All unsucessful. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong
Thanks

You don't say what you copied. Was it a file with a *.pst extension?
This is where Outlook's data is kept. Find that file. You can do this
by right-mouse click on the folder for that file and it will tell you.

Then, copy it to cd.

To open it on another machine, you *must* copy it to the hard disk and
ensure it's not copied as a read-only file. outlook will required
read/write access, and you can't do that with a CD.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
