Business Cards shifting

Using Win XP and P2003

I designed a business card using Page Setup and normal 3.5 x2, with 10
cards per page. However, regardless of the printer I use, the first two
cards (left to right) print higher up the cardstock (above the
perforation) than the others, with each card below shifting lower and
lower on the stock until the bottom two cards print below the lowest
perforation.

How do I get the cards to print at the precise same point on every card?

Thanks much.

You are definitely experiencing printing issues. Maybe some maintenance? Your
rollers may not be picking up correctly. Do you have a lever on your printer for
heavier stock? Is your top margin set at .5?

Mary, thank you for your reply. I have been using Pub for years and
years, and just discovered, from going to the MS Knowledgebase, that if
I go to Page Layout, Layout, Publication Type and use an Avery LABEL
business card rather than using the Business Card layout. Problem solved
immediately!

Thanks again for your concern.

As you said in your first post the problem was on any printer, it seemed
obvious to be a dimension error and as soon as you changed to another
template the dimension was changed and all was well.

If you wanted to you could now go back and check the exact vertical
height of the card and compare the two and I am sure you will find the
failing one was a few millimeters (a small part of an inch) higher than
the good one.
Although you used a template you could have used page setup and changed
the height manually.
