Calculate custom assignment sum in resource view

P

Piotr Zygadlo

Hello,

I’m digging here for some hours, and I can’t find any solution to my
problem. So I’m posting.
I have taskcost1 field. I use VBA macro to copy it into assignment cost1
field (and it work only when I press F9 - annoying but this is not the main
problem).
1. I want this assignment cost1 field to be summarized into resource field
(may it be cost1 field) on resource view (and I can’t calculate all
assignments for given resource, but just visible ones)
2. Has anyone idea, why isn’t field filled with macro working with Project
formulas (example [Cost2]=[Cost1]+[Cost])

Hi Mike,

Thanks for welcome and quick answer.

Yes, I know this FAQ :) There is where my macro is from. So I’m supposing,
that what I’m asking for is impossible :(. Thanks anyway.

Thanks

You're welcome, Piotr :)

However I wouldn't say it's impossible with VBA. Try posting on the
developer newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project Newsgroups. FAQs,
companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at this
