Can I add a midi to a Word document?

I can't seem to find any information on this.

Can someone please refer me to any information on this or
tell me if what I'm trying to do is not possible?

Yes you can, choose Insert - Object - in the list choose Midi sequence -
choose the tab from file, navigate to your midi file select it and hit
Insert. You can choose to display it as an icon or link to it. When you want
to play just double click on it.
