The subject says it all. I need to convert one of my Powerpoint Covers to a
graphic (jpg or gif) so that I might create a picture link on a web page
*.html

Click File > Save As.
Under Save As Type, select the picture format you want (eg: JPEG or GIF).

File > Save
In the diaglog box that appears, choose the drop down menu that reads File
Type. Select the image option you want - e.g., jpg. When you click OK you'll
get another dialog box that asks if you want to save the single slide or the
entire deck.

One thing to note is that sometimes the quality of the text on a PowerPoint
slide that's been saved as a jpg or gif or png is not always as crisp as it
might be using an image editing software like Photoshop.

Let me know if this helps.
