Can I delete these files?

I've got an older version of Powerpoint (Office for Windows 95).

In the folder where I save the Powerpoint file I'm working on the
system has saved an additional 60 files with the ending ".tmp".

Are all those files necessary? They're using a whole lot of memory.

Can I delete them?

If you don't have a powerpoint file "open" at this present time.

Then yes, it's safe to delete your .tmp files.
