can i have useable wide notebook lines on my doc

Office XP Pro. Trying to make a document with wide ruled notebook lines with
words on each line for writing practice for my daughter who is in 1st grade.
Can I do this?

I would probably just use a (single column) table with bottom borders only
and size the rows according to the font size I wanted to use.
