Can I Show/ Hide Hidden text by Section

E

editor

I use Hidden text in different section of a document for different purposes;
one purpose if index creation (XE), which I would prefer to hide all the
times, another use is hidden individual text, which I turn on/off as needed.

The problem is if I display my hidden text in one section, I also get the XE
codes from another section.

No, Show/Hide is for the entire document.

You could create a set of styles, all with the same definition. Then you can
selectively activate/deactivate the Hidden property for the text you want to
hide/display.
