Can I use old Works documents with Word?

I recently switched to Word 2003 from Works word processing. I have a bunch
of documents saved on floppy from my Works days. How can I access and use
them in Word? Thanks.

What version of Works? Word/Office 2003 includes a Works 7.0 .wps converter
on the CD... install it if you haven't already done so. If you need the
Works 6.0 .wps converter, see http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=315757. And
in Word, don't open files from a floppy, because you will probably corrupt
them. Instead, copy the files from your floppy to your hard drive, then open
the copies that are on the hard drive.

If you need earlier Works version converters 3, 4, 5 or 6, you can download
them via a link on my web site.
