Can the 'mailbox.pst' file from Outlook 2000 be transfered and used
with Outlook XP?
My father-in-law is retiring, but may be called in the future with
questions on projects. He wants to have all his emails & attachments
copied from his work laptop to a home laptop. His work pc runs Windows
2000 and Office 2000. I have already made a backup of his 'mailbox.pst'
file, which from what I read contains all his emails (I assume
attachements too, as it's over 400mb). He now wants to be able to read
them on this old laptop I'm giving him. It currently has Windows 98,
but if I can, I'm going to load Windows XP on it, and the only version
of Office/Outlook I currently have is Office XP. Will I be able to load
his old Outlook 2000 emails (PST file) with Outlook XP?
Thanks, Dave
