can print from office tool bar, mail merge asks for printer port

I can print from the Office tool bar and from "file" but when I have to
print from Mail Merge, a window appears asking me which port to print from.
If I use LPT1, nothing prints.

Do you have a printer attached to LPT1?

Printer prints from lpt1 from toolbar, only mail merge doesn't read the
printer. Just reinstall the printer driver and be done with it?

That method would be my attempt at getting it to work.
